South African born artist, Stefan Jacobs has been painting professionally for the past 15 years. He has always had a passion to create and is a self taught artist who loves paying attention to detail, light, colors and textures.

Through his artworks Stefan wants us to see the beauty and share the enjoyment that is to be derived from everyday scenes and objects all around us, which is easily taken for granted. Nature is his source of inspiration. Stefan’s works vary from wild life studies to still lives, landscapes and floral themed paintings.

He mainly works in oils and acrylics but has produced several works in water-colors, pastels, oil pastels and pencil.

Over the past 10 years numerous commissions were done for corporations as well as individuals all over South Africa. In addition, due to his extensive travels to the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zeeland, numerous works have been acquired by private individuals abroad.

He has also participated in a number of group exhibitions mainly in Gauteng and Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Stefan lives in Table View, Cape Town, South Africa.
